Good Evening All,
We hope everyone is doing well! Tomorrow is the big solar eclipse; the last one this area is going to see for roughly 20 years. That might have you thinking, what can I do to capture this event? That's what tonight's blog is all about. There are a few things you can do to capture the event.
First, the Clarksville area is expected to see 97% totaility. It should occur at approximently 12:44 PM.
Second, safety is the most important thing tomorrow. Do not put yourself in a dangerous situation to take pictures.
Eye protection is critcal during the event! REGULAR sunglasses are not strong enough for the concentrated rays produced by the eclipse. Make sure you have proper eye protection.
Protecting your camera is also important to ensure it does not recieve any damage because of the extra strong rays. For those tips, I found this information from NASA.
Please be careful and enjoy tomorrow.
